Ciao! I'm Grace Shoop and I'm the Editor-in-Chief! I'm a senior Public Relations and Women's & Gender Studies major. A fun fact about me is that I almost went to pastry school instead of traditional college so my favorite part of Italy has been trying all of the desserts here!

Hello Sooners! I am a photographer majoring in Creative Media Production, with a particular interest in wildlife photography. I’ve been a vegetarian for over 15 years. My favorite restaurant in Arezzo is Officine Gourmet Panini, which makes a great Italiano All'estero! Something that surprised me about Italy versus back home is how cars and motorcycles weave through the narrow streets, with pedestrians walking alongside them on the road.

Hey! My name is Amanda Coleman and I'm the copy editor! I am a rising senior majoring in advertising with a minor in editing and publishing. Some of my passions include graphic design, reading, and music. I am in love with all the amazing scenery here in Italy and my favorite restaurant in Arezzo is Tortello Divino.

Studying abroad can feel a little overwhelming at times so our hope is that BBoomer Bites makes adjusting to your home away from home easier. My favorite drink is the Aperol Spritz from Logge Vasari in the Piazze Grande. One thing that surprised me was the lower cost of everything in Italy - its made buying clothes, drinks and food pretty dangerous. Ciao... for now!

Their pasta and desserts are amazing, and it was one of the first restaurants we discovered here in Arezzo, so it has an element of nostalgia. One of my favorite things about Italy is how much history is everywhere. I love that no matter where I go in Italy, history is all around me.
